drought is complicated, especially if you care about its impact

The ability to understand, monitor and forecast Somalia's weather, and subsequently gain insight into potential socioeconomic impact, is a key part of being able to effectively support the Somalian people.  It's vital for NGOs such as Concern Worldwide to feel confident in doing this and to be able to systematically use weather information in their decision making processes.

This website is the result of a conversation between Concern Worldwide and the International Research Institute for Climate and Society on how Concern currently use climate information and on their vision for the future.
